Bio

From 1973 to 1981, Dr. Adrienne Bailey was a senior staff associate at the Chicago Community Trust making her among the first African American senior staff associates in Chicago and the country. She was also recognized for her contribution to establishing the Trust's Minority Internship program. In 1981, Dr. Bailey became the first African American Vice President of Academic Affairs for the College Board of New York. Over the course of her career, Dr. Bailey served as faculty at Stanford University Center for Opportunity Policy in Education; study director for the Standards and Assessment Partnership at the University of Chicago Consortium for School Research; and deputy superintendent for instruction at the Chicago Public Schools. Currently, she works as a senior consultant providing strategic coaching and equity solutions to schools, districts, and universities across the U.S. and South Africa.
