    Voice. Vision. Value. Black Women Leading Philanthropy celebrates, elevates, and documents the historic impact of Black women across the philanthropic sector.

    Launched in August 2020, VVV honors the trailblazers who paved the way while uplifting today’s leaders who continue transforming philanthropy to be more equitable, inclusive, and just.

      LEADING WITH INTENTION

      Honors the trailblazers who paved the way for the historic representation of Black women in the field today and uplifts present day leaders carrying on the legacy of transforming philanthropy to be more equitable, inclusive, and just.

      Commissions and disseminates research that documents the collective impact of Black women and their experiences leading philanthropy at the intersection of gender, race, and class.

      Develops customized tools, curricula, and experiences to address the unique barriers and opportunities Black women experience.

      Serves as a conduit and sponsor providing Black women resources to position their leadership and facilitates access to strategic relationships and spaces of influence that support career advancement.
